Personally I think the tutoring helped me understand areas in Maths which I wasn’t very comfortable with initially, and ultimately I felt that I learned a lot which helped me for my GCSE Maths. I also really benefited in the end. I think the way of tutoring matched the way I learned and if I felt unsure of anything I knew I can ask and my tutor would be able to explain it to me. Tuition at Maths Wiz helped me a lot. The price was reasonable. I really like the way Maths Wiz tutors teach, as it is very understandable and easy to interpret. Working to my pace and patience were key skills that my tutor had. Before the tuition I was predicted a grad but by the end of my tuition period which was not even a full school year, I achieved one grade higher than predicted.

I’ve had experiences of several different tutors throughout my GCSEs but I felt Dhruv had a different approach and was very significant in improving my engagement with the subjects I was struggling in. Dhruv not only explained the concepts to me but allowed time for revising topics and going through exam technique tips. Dhruv was well prepared for every session with lots of materials and I was able to ask lots of questions and be given explanations and practice sheets to help me answer them. For my tutoring, Dhruv used an interactive whiteboard which was different to other tutors and was very practical as it allowed explanations and diagrams to be made much clearer. The sessions were very effective and I progressed greatly from the beginning to my exam season with only a few weeks of lessons. ~ achieved grade 8
